Super pissed at WooCommerce

  • I only have about 5 items in my online “store,” all of which I added by hand.

    I set a “sale price” to run today (11/28/14) through 11/30/14, and I lost a bunch of sales and had emails from angry potential customers because WooCommerce didn’t update to the SALE price from regular at the appointed time. WTF??

    I just went in and re-updated the affected products, and NOW they show the sale price, but it’s too late. If people didn’t get the deal today, they’re not going to come back.

    I’m super pissed at the WooCommerce folks. I know I’m not the only one who fell prey to this particular glitch. It’s pretty ridiculous for a “mature product,” in my opinion. I’m looking for an alternative now. Maybe Gumroad is the way to go, since all of my “products” are virtual or downloadable.

    BTW, I use a WooCommerce compatible theme: Mesocolumn by Dezzain.
