Super-Powered comments

  • For a long time, I’ve dreaded getting email notifications about comments on my sites. The default WordPress email is useless except for a link to your page, after which you either have to login, or type in to a tiny HTML form…with Postmatic that’s a THING OF THE PAST.

    I love getting emails notifying me of comments because I can reply in my native email client, either on desktop or mobile, no hassle, no links to click. It supports native replies so my reply to a comment is threaded on the page, making it look like I commented right from within WordPress.

    Their support is great and responds quickly. Nice work Postmatic team!

    Combine Postmatic with Epoch, and you’ve got a winning combination.

  • I’ve been really impressed with Epoch – it feels like a web commenting system should be. And I gotta say, as you mention, when it’s combined with the core Postmatic plugin – slick!

    Hoping they get a lot of success with their plugins.

    Chris! That’s awesome! Thanks so much for the glowing endorsement. I sometimes think that the increases in commenting people see with Postmatic mostly comes from the fun of it… which is a lot of what we’re trying to do: make commenting fun again.
