Super powerful plugin!

This plugin exceeded my every expectation for what a “free” plugin could be.

I was looking for a plugin to allow me some freedom to insert ads or code blocks within post body. While I can do this with PHP functions, it is not as easy to maintain that way when changing themes, etc.

I found and installed Ad Inserter, and expected a fairly basic plugin with few options, and a “pro” version for a fee. I was immediately blown away by the number of code blocks allowed (16, plus Header!) as well as the various options for configuring each, AND the ability to extend this with the “rotate” delimiter! The ability to create shortcode functions as well, allows you even more ability to manually tweak your theme files and include these code blocks which can be easily managed through the Dashboard. This plugin allowed me to remove 5 or 6 other plugins which I had used to augment the post content (i.e., including social media share buttons, etc.) and has made managing advertisements and other code block insertions so easy to do.

For someone with a better grasp on web development, this plugin would be extremely powerful. I’m already imagining ways that I might one day use it with angular.js or other elements.

In short I think this is a must-have plugin for almost any WordPress user!
