Super simple!

  • Great little plugin.
    You need to replace the base url by [base_url]. That’s all.
    Works for images and for links in pages.

    Very small drawback: doesn’t work in text widgets…

    Plugin “Shortcodes in Sidebar” solves this issue.
    Now the shortcode [base_url} works in the text widget as well!
