super slow, and slow and slow and hangs

  • Whenever I try to edit pages in my WordPress blog, it hangs and hangs and hangs. So desperate to resolve this I finally uninstalled the old version from my host, deleted the database and manually installed the new version (it seems to have installed properly). But the same issue remains. It hangs and hangs and hangs.

  • Do you have all that dashboard feed dreck loading? How many sites are you pinging besides rpc.pingomatic?

    im using Firefox 2.0.0.1 with win xp. the day i upgraded to wp 2.1, it hangs and when it does loaded, it slows everything down. and my cpu usage 100%!!!! and i have 1G RAM.
    previous version 2.0.5 it works flawlessly. Pls help me.

    fixed! just one of the old un updated plugin. these of coz after a few big glass of nescafe and sleepless nite. faster and better image display. recommended for all.
