Super Slow Siz-ite

Hello wordpress folks!
Love wordpress so far.
Problem is my site takes a while to load. Some people have said it never successfully loaded on their computer. Scary.
I ran a test at webpagetest.com and it had a number of recommendations about image compression which I can totally optimize. The one thing that worries me is that it took 13.5 seconds just for the site to respond and then another 2-3 for image loads.
They gave me several F’s.
Im hosted at Go Daddy.
Anyone have any recommendations to speed up this site. I need people to be able to load this up quickly.
