I experiment with many themes but none of them can beat isola for a text heavy site. I found only a single theme with nicer font but with none of the capability that isola has.

    Pros:
    – Minimalist, I want users to focus on my content instead of getting distracted
    – Excellent mobile display, mobile usage is growing, mobile support is mandatory
    – Impressive demo website (https://isolademo.wordpress.com/) gave me several new ideas to try out
    – Powerful side menu, didn’t know so much can be done with it until I visit the demo site. Hide all the complexity of the site away until the user need them.
    – Header that show at the top constantly, very useful

    Cons
Minor problems that I encountered trying to get the site just right.
    – Header is useful, but the space in it seems to be very restricted with the search alone taking up 1/2 the space even though it is not that large. End up moving the search into the sidebar so that my site’s title can show in a single line. The limited space hurt mobile display too.
    – Tagline not showing despite the fact that it is in the code. I want my tag line to show in a small font below the title but the css is… odd. The tag line is hidden in I way I couldn’t understand and modifying .site-description doesn’t work. Switching to another class make the header too large. Must be missing something.
