Not great

  • Changed this review because the developer does not listen and does what he likes.

    1) Requested he stops the video bombardment within the admin panel.

    2) Annoying red button frequently appears on the top admin menu and basically does nothing. One has to click to visit the page with the video advert, plus yet another advert on and click dismiss!

    3) Updates too frequently without any explanation, rather than showing a changelog, the plugin update pop-up shows an advert! Really! How many adverts does this developer expect someone to tolerate before they move to another plug-in.

    I do not understand what the video advert aims to achieve. It shows a glass of water being poured over a laptop. This app, free or premium would not protect a computer from a glass of water, and therefore the video clip is misleading and illegal in the UK under ASA regulations.

    I no longer trust this developer to stick to his word because if I paid for the premium I still fully expect more bombardments of adverts, probably for other products.

    If this developer listened to requests to change the plug-in, I think people would respect it more and would probably buy the premium or donate. However, the developer continues to make a mockery of WordPress and what it stands for.
