superpwa json taking a long time to load

Thanks for using SuperPWA. I also noticed that around 5seconds is taking to load the manifest file. Over most of the websites, I have noticed the manifest to be loaded within a time of about 2- 5 milliseconds. As I’m not a PRO in speed optimization, I’m not sure about why it’s causing. Anyway I’m sharing some rough thoughts that I think may help you:

1) If you are using any image CDN, kindly please exclude the Application Icon and Splash screen images.
2) If you are using any caching/lazy loading plugins, kindly please exclude /superpwa-manifest.json and try it out.
3) Also, test it out after disabling the caching/lazy loading plugins.

These are my suggestions only. If that didn’t help kindly please raise an issue over GitHub or please do let me know.

Any idea why there is two superpwa-manifest.json on the server loaded? Duplication or are the different files? What causes it to have two different manifests? This is based on the waterfall readings.

@josevarghese I have tried implementing your suggestions, but unfortunately it’s not working! Its taking 5-7 seconds to load.

When I visit your website its loads quickly in real mode. Still don’t know why it’s showing like this over GTmetrix.

Frankly, I’m not a knowledgeable person on this use case. I’ll ask this with one of my friend who is a PRO on speed and performance and will get back to you once he replies to this.

Me pasa el mismo problema, la mitad de carga del tiempo de carga de mi sitio web es debido a superpwa-manifest.json

Un dato a tomar en cuenta es que cualquier plugin GZIP, hace que en Gmetriz muestre que el tama?o “comprimido” del archivo json es mayor al “no comprimido”.
