• Have had no luck in getting the premium version to work and I know it’s our fault as somehow we cannot get the plugin configured correctly. We have completed support tickets three times and still no help.

We are trying to move a Joomla version of jreviews to a new install on wordpress and purchased the premium version and the jreviews addon.

I read positive reviews on the support before purchasing, but the support is not responding as other have touted.

I’ve sent support our log files too to make it easier and still “crickets”.

I would rather have some help than write a negative review, but its been months and now remedy in site and no support.

I have checked the history of your tickets. You have opened three tickets: on 2023-02-25, on 2023-03-16 and on 2023-04-11. Each time, we have answered to you within the same day.

Here what we answered about your configuration issue:

If Joomla and WordPress are not installed on the same host, you can do this:

    • export the Joomla database to a SQL file (with phpMyAdmin for example)
    • import this SQL file on the same database as WordPress
    • run the migration by using WordPress database credentials (host, user, password, database) instead of the Joomla ones in the plugin settings. You can find the WordPress credentials in the wp-config.php file.

Feel free to come back to us if you need more help or if you have any question.

If you don’t receive our emails, please check your spam folder. Or perhaps they are blocked by your email provider. In this case, please try to use an alternative email address from another provider.

Thank you for the reply. We were able to finally make the import into wordpress and now trying to figure out how to get all the media that was included in the joomla records properly connected to the wordpress records. Is there a method to do this?

    Thanks again for your assistance

    Great.

To import the media, you just have to fill in the URL field with the URL of the live Joomla site.
