• Hi,

When logged in as a Support Agent, Supervisor or Manager the BravoWP dashboard is not available in the menu.

Am I missing something in the configuration?

I would expect that when logged in as these user types this would be available as standard.

    Hello,

the Administration part of the Helpdesk is available to the Administrators of WordPress only. Are the users that you are testing it with (Agents, …) in the Administrators group/role?

    Thanks

    Hi,

When you install BravoWP it creates 4 new user roles. These are

    • Support User
    • Support Agent
    • Support Supervisor
    • Support Manager

I would expect that the agent, supervisor and manager would have access to the bravo dashboard and would not require full administrative rights to do so. Admin rights should be reserved for the administrators of the site not every users in a support function.

    Thanks

    Hi,

Is there any response to this??

    Thanks

Hi meltedhouse, i’m trying to install this plugin but i can’t get any user role …

Can post a copy from the content of your “wp_user_roles” field in the “wp_options” table?

In this way, i can have the user roles too and maybe help you with your problem.

    Thanks!

Guys, what do I need to do to get an answer on this? I left you a very good review when you helped me with my last query but since then your support level has slipped. I need a response and I have found many other issues. I have paid for your premium plug in and would expect better.

    Hello,

sorry for the late but I remember I sent you an email some days ago. Actaully, our plugin does not add any role in WordPress (maybe they were added by some other helpdesk plugin in your case, could you check?)

To allow users access the Dashboard, like you see in our online demo, we used a combination of free WP plugins. One is called “Adminize”, and allows to open the dashboard menu items to one or more role. And any other plugin that can manage users/roles in WordPress (there are many). Unfortunately, our plugin does not handle these things by itself; of course is on the to do list, and I am trying to have it done ASAP.

Write again if you need help setting the things up this way. If you find this a show-stopper, please email me again and we’ll arrange a full refund if you think it is the case.

    Thanks,
    Andrew

    Hi Andrew,

I have deleted the other user roles and created 2 new roles from the Administrator permissions and used Adminimize to restrict the menu options to only show the BravoWP plugin to these roles.

This gives the desired effect. Thanks for your help.

    Hi Andrew,

Due to the lack of support, I would like a refund. No one is answering any tickets!!! Pretty Bad!!

    Hello,

mmm… I thought this was resolved, by reading your last post? Maybe I misunderstood something?
