I am not a coder but a novice doing podcasts and maintaining the website on behalf of a non-profit (as in we do not have money) ministry. Powerpress has been an amazing podcasting plugin and gave us access to iTunes and Google play among others.
As we had used another plugin before – we migrated to Powerpress because of the support.Twice we have been caught using a plugin from an author who quit updating their plugin and we had to redo hours of work. WORD TO THE WISE = DO NOT USE PLUGINS NOT SUPPORTED BY A GROUP OF CODERS OR A COMPANY LIKE BLUBERRY. They have been on the cutting edge of innovation and they actually use their own product all the time.
What prompted this review is Michael Dell one of their staff spent some time personally trouble shooting a feed issue we had with iTunes. He isolated the issue to the theme we were using. That is way above the …look at the forum…or Google the problem. They earned my loyalty forever…
