Thanks for reaching out. To answer your question, Site Kit does indeed support AMP, with the plugin placing AMP valid Google Analytics 4 (GA4) code on each page of your site.

I’m also aware of the AMP for WP plugin, and I believe they have their own AMP templates, independent of your current active theme. If you wish to share your site URL I’d be happy to confirm that your AMP URLs do have a GA4 snippet placed and is tracking as expected.

and I noticed a considerable drop in my data after UA stopped working.

This is normal, given Universal Analytics has now been discontinued. Great however that you are making the move to GA4.

Let me know if you have any questions with the above.

Appreciate you sharing the URL. I checked your site and it looks like there is a valid GA4 tag placed on your site. This is recognized when I inspect your site using Chromes developer tools.

Note also that you do have a consent type feature active on your AMP URLs, so it might be worthwhile temporary deactivating this if you’re trying to troubleshoot traffic using the Analytics real time reporting tool for your AMP URLs.

I also checked your non AMP URLs and while you are not using Site Kit to placed your GA4 snippet directly, there is a GA4 tag present that is recording as expected. This matches the property on your AMP URLs.

Post some updates. I created a data flow to put in AMP, since AMP content requires a separate code to be tracked. I activated SiteKit Google to enter the GA4 code.

I have GA4, TAG Manager, Search Console all connected to SiteKit.

Can you double check my page if everything is ok? I’m worried about AMP tracking not working. Can I see anything about AMP in GA4? see if pages are being indexed?

In the Configuration Wizard, there is an error when looking at the GA4 code on the AMP (https://imgur.com/a/tsgdAEo) pages.

    TAG GA4 Fluxo normal: G-6ZPRKVKT6Z
    TAG GA4 AMP: G-5HVPJ43B47

Terei problema em criar um fluxo para o site e um fluxo para AMP como fiz?

    Obrigado.

I can understand your concern. The GA4 property you have on your AMP URLs is the same as the GA4 on your non AMP URLs, and the configuration seems correct to me.

In the Configuration Wizard, there is an error when looking at the GA4 code on the AMP (https://imgur.com/a/tsgdAEo) pages.

You’re using the legacy Tag Assistant Chrome extension, which I don’t believe supports AMP page tracking. This may be the reason why you fee your AMP URLs are not recording traffic. You’ll therefore need to use the real time reporting tool in Analytics, while visiting AMP URLs on your site (while not logged in).
