Support for Arabic or RTL articles?

  • Hello,

    I’ve done the setup and configured the plugin with my facebook page, but i have received an “unknown error” upon clicking the button “submit for review”. When I checked the Production articles tab on my facebook page, I noticed 3 out of 5 articles were shown. Our website has both English and Arabic articles. I am suspecting it’s because of the arabic articles?
    Another question, is there a way for me to filter out articles from certain categories? I have around 6 categories on my blog, and would like to publish articles of only 2 categories out of those 6. Would this be possible?

  • Hi @szohdi. Thanks for writing about your issue.

    Arabic is fully supported so I don’t suspect that this would be a reason for articles not showing up. Can you go into your Facebook Page and see the reasons listed why those certain pages are perhaps failing to show as Instant Articles?

    RTL is supported as well, but the plugin doesn’t yet contain a setting to enable it, but it will when issue #317 is implemented. In the mean time, it would have to be done manually (more information in the GitHub issue).
