Support for bulk discounts on all bundled products in product bundle

    We have some suggestions to enhance this plugins usability for a particular scenario where there are many bundled products in a product bundle. Such enhancements would make it easier to manage.

    The scenario:

    We have 30+ products in a product bundle. We offer a discount if all products in the bundle are selected for purchase. Periodically, when we need to add new products or remove outdated products, we need to manually adjust the rule to the total number of products.

    If there was a rule to apply the discount to all, it saves us having to manually count how many products in the product bundle whenever products are added or removed i.e. removes human error for this scenario. Provides the ability to “Set and forget”, if you will.

    Enhancement suggestions

    1. Add the ability to define a fourth quantity format:
    Apply a bulk discount rule to all bundled products in product bundle
    e.g.

    • 1 -5 | 5 (quantity range format)
    • 6 | 10 (single quantity format)
    • 7+ | 15 (equal to or higher)
    • all | 20 (all)

    2. add a counter next to the “Bundled Products” of bundled products added to get an overview of the total number of bundled products.

    3. currently, you can add or remove products, but the ability to flag a bundled product as enabled/disabled without removing it from the product bundle would be handy as it retains the settings.

    We really appreciate taking the time to share your feedback with us! I can definitely see how these enhancements would benefit Product Bundles and Bulk Discounts users!

    I have taken note of your suggestions and will discuss them further with the rest of the team. We usually prioritize new work based on effort/impact. Since we haven’t received any similar requests in the past, it is likely that we won’t prioritize these features at the moment. However, we will definitely continue to track demand for these through our support channels.
