Hi @funcdesign, thank-you for your message.

If you have Wordfence > Login Security > Settings > Enable WooCommerce integration checked, I may need to clarify the precise nature of the issue. Are you unable to log in with it enabled, unable to register with it enabled, or do both work, but it doesn’t block bot registrations?

I think this part of our documentation may be relevant as 2FA, captcha, and registration do work on our tests with WooCommerce 8.9.3:

Currently, the CAPTCHA is not compatible with the WooCommerce option “Allow customers to create an account during checkout” as it is only applied on the default, standalone WooCommerce registration form. However, the CAPTCHA icon can appear on the checkout page if “Allow customers to log into an existing account during checkout is enabled” because it is applied to WooCommerce login forms.

    Thanks,
    Peter.

    Hi Peter,

The most important feature for me is being able to CAPTCHA guest orders because that’s what bots will use for carding attacks. I’ve found that limiting account creation to a successful purchase has worked well too since a transaction is required. I didn’t realize that the CAPTCHA didn’t apply to the checkout page at all! Is there any word on when we might be able to apply CAPTCHAs to the checkout page?

Thanks for the info and for getting back to me.

    Hi @funcdesign,

As we don’t currently extend our own reCAPTCHA beyond the WordPress and WooCommerce login/registration pages, you may be able to add an anti-spam plugin or WooCommerce add-on for reCAPTCHA on the checkout in the mean time.

We are looking to expand compatibility to WordPress comment forms and the WooCommerce checkout in the future. However I am unable to comment on possible schedules here on the forums, so you would be welcome to highlight your use-case to feedback @ wordfence . com so the development team are aware of the demand.

    Thanks,
    Peter.

No worries @funcdesign, happy to help. If you have further Wordfence questions in future by all means start up a new topic any time.
