Support for custom fields in Custom Tables

  • According your docs, adding custom fields seems straightforward enough, which is great. However, the example doesn’t seem to imply it can support custom fields stored into Custom Tables different than postmeta (e.g. MetaBox Custom Table, ACF Custom DB Tables, Pods, etc.). Is this something that could still be achieved, or would it be considered for a next version?
