Support for custom taxonomy?

    Dear Mr Slavov

    Many thanks for making this valuable plugin available to us! The bulk edit functionality has been particularly helpful.

    I wondered if you could possibly extend it to cover also custom taxonomies?

    This has been something on my TODO list and I am considering it but since WP core doesn’t support featured images for taxonomies by default I haven’t implemented it yet.

    That’s great to hear, @krasenslavov! As there doesn’t seem to be plans for WP core to support this anytime soon (no trac ticket yet), perhaps it’d be a good idea to build on what is already implemented in plugins like Simple Featured Image, and add the bulk edit capability on top of it?

    If there was taxonomy support for the featured image in WP core I would definitely add it to the plugin.

    As you understand this is a bit outside of this plugin’s scope, adding a featured image to taxonomies requires a custom field, which can easily be added with the ACF plugin for example.
