Support for .HEIC and other file formats through mobile phone

    Hi, Is there a way to enable support for .HEIC pictures or other formats created by mobile phones in order to interact and upload pictures to topics using mobile phone gallery?

    WordPress and PHP don’t support HEIC format (as far as I know). There is a plugin that adds support for HEIC, so if that plugin adds HEIC support, my plugin should work with it. I am not sure about the preview of these images.

    From the tests I did, HEIC upload will work if the plugin for HEIC is installed, and the server is capable of handling HEIC images (PHP ImageMagick 7 is installed and enabled).
