    Hello,

Could you please tell me if it is possible, with the free version of this plugin, to create galleries with images as wide as the screen ?

(I’d like to use it on the homepage of a WooCommerce website using the Storefront theme)

Also, if I’m trying to have text in front of the images, or/and links to pages for each image, am I looking at the right plugin, or should I search for a slider plugin instead?

Thank you and sorry for the naive questions… ??

  • Hello @wpguillaume,

Here are some recommendations while uploading your photographs.
    https://www.imagely.com/docs/image-sizes-and-resolutions/

We recommend 1920×1280 pixels with an sRGB color profile.
The plugin will resize your images on upload, but you can set that up on NextGEN Gallery > Other Options > What should images be resized?

Each image will be resized, and that is the final size available in the lightbox Effect.
    Each Lightbox effect behaves differently.

Here are the available lightbox Effects for the gallery (except the NextGEN Pro lightbox effect only available in the paid version)
    https://www.imagely.com/docs/lightbox-effects/

As a recommendation, you can try to install the plugin and run a quick test.

There are no naive questions. We are happy to help!
Feel free to write us back.

    Hello and thank you.

I gave it a try, but it in the end, and for future reference for other users, I eventually used the Slider Hero plugin.

    Thanks again.
