Support for Multi-DB?

    Hello! This plugin support plugin Multi-DB from WPMUdev? My website has 256 DB and main DB (global) with the same user DB. I’m looking for a plugin which backup all DB’s.

    Hi,

    We’ve never tested this, but it’s unlikely to work, unless that plugin is intercepting the sorts of non-normal SQL commands that backup plugins run, like “SHOW TABLES”, and stitching together results across all databases. You’d need to ask their support desk for exactly which SQL commands it intercepts and modifies to see if it’s going to work. “SHOW TABLES” would be the major one.

    A restore operation is also unlikely to restore the original distribution, unless it also intercepts “CREATE TABLES” and then switches between databases to implement it.
