Support for online-only providers?

  • I am looking for a directory plug-in or theme that has a lot of support for mixed “location-dependent” AND “online businesses”, or advertisers that provide both. Or allows providers to mark one or more “service areas” (up to “all of USA”). See my example below, does your theme provide any solutions for these types of issues?

    Example of problem: If a reader in NYC is looking for a sleep consultant. They don’t care if it’s someone who has an office in Brooklyn or who is in Oklahoma and only does Skype sessions. They want to see all the sleep consultants available to them and their reviews. How do I get all the NYC-based AND the online professionals to all come up when she searches “Sleep Consultants” in “City”. Or is there another work around?

    Or, another example, if someone is really busy with their new baby and knows they won’t be able to get out of the house, can they do a search for all “online sleep consultants” no matter their location? Thanks.
