I’ll ask here just in case.
My Submit button doesn’t work when editing a custom post. I tried both the option with the Frontend Admin form and the option of embedding it in Elementor using widgets. The edit form opens (if I made it modal), I change the fields, but the Submit button doesn’t work. I have the latest version 3.20.11. I also tried several other versions available in the personal account, they also do not work.

Also in 3.20.11 not works open file buttons like open image for featured image, open file for acf file field.

For the 3.19.7 open file buttons works. Submit button does not work too.

    hi @lavzza

I apologize for not replying to your emails. I honestly don’t know what happened. Perhaps they went to my spam folder (which I check, but maybe I missed it)

In any case, this is a good channel as this issue also affects the Free version hosted here.

What I think is happening (since this happened to me as well) is the following. When you upload an image the submit is disabled until the image is finished uploading so that we can connect the image or file to the post or user. However, sometimes the upload takes a long time on the server and there is no feedback by the submit button so it seems that the submit button is just broken.

    Steps to fix:

    1. First off, we will add feedback by the submit button to indicate the progress of the uploads.
    2. We will look into saving the images with a unique identifier so that the form can be submitted and still be connected to the post or user via the unique identifier. This might be too complicated though….
    3. I will keep listening to your suggestions and feedback

Ok, I still couldn’t solve the problem with editing custom posts not working.
I even found 3.10.3 online, a version that worked for me before. But she doesn’t work anymore either. The modal window opens, but the buttons for opening the file selection window and the save post button do not work.

In this case, the modal window for creating a new custom post works completely correctly.

I reinstalled the plugin, but this most likely does not work, since the plugin does not have a function to clear the database of traces of the plugin.
Maybe there are some restrictions, for example, the ACF versions that Frontend Admin works with?
Maybe Frontend Admin doesn’t work with the ACF repeater field?
Maybe Frontend Admin is conflicting with the ACF Views plugin?
Could it be that I imported Frontend Admin forms from my old site?
How can I track at what stage the error occurs? Unfortunately, my knowledge of programming is superficial and I won’t be able to figure out the plugin code and the causes of the problem myself.
I ask for help, since I have not been able to solve this problem for a month now.
Maybe you can provide advice on WhatsApp?
