Coming from Shopify and using woocommerce the user interface is the first thing the bothers me. Find your product is really an eye opener and hopefully get’s long term support. We are quit a large store so currently testing on staging. First thing i notice is that the plugin doesn’t offer support in woo subscription view or editing. Is this something that is being worked on?

    Hi @rridder,

Yes, we’re hoping to build for the long term as well. Dashify will only get better.

We currently don’t support subscriptions, but it will be made compatible within the next week. We’ll try out the WooCommerce Subscriptions plugin and adjust the UI of Dashify to fit it best, both in the table and order view. I’ll update this thread when it’s complete!

    Thanks!

    Hey @rridder,

We released a new version of Dashify today that supports the WooCommerce Subscriptions list page.

The subscriptions list page gets all the upgrades the regular WooCommerce order list gets with Dashify—even the analytics. For now, I made the analytics show total revenue from subscriptions, number of subscriptions created, and number cancelled for the given time period.

Feel free to give it a try and let me know if you have any feedback! Over the next week, I will be working to improve the styling of the subscription edit page, just like the order edit page.

    Hi @rridder,

I released Dashify 1.2.4 today adding support for the WooCommerce Subscriptions edit view, so we should be fully compatible now! Please, let me know if I missed anything.

Also, I am open to suggestions on improvements to make. Specifically, if you can mention things like

    • a workflow that your team has which cannot be completed quickly given the standard WooCommerce Subscriptions interface, that a different flow could possibly make easier
    • any small annoyances you have the subscriptions interface
    • something you wished was there that would make your life easier

Happy to talk over any ideas and implement them in a way that makes it easier for your team to manage the orders.

@dashify thanks for the update! This looks really good.

? Would need to ask with customer support. But i know one thing, which is annoying with woocommerce. When you want to manual add or change an order. Fx price you have to calculate it ex vat and add a second line with the vat. With shopify you could just change to the final price you want to charge your customer. We have solved this by adding another plugin: https://woocommerce.com/products/admin-order-modifier/ (this one is not competible with yours, perhaps you can make it so that that plugin is not needed).

@dashify maybe an idea to also improve the wordpress>user pages in style of shopify.

    Hi @rridder,

I installed Admin Order Modifier to try it out, and I can see the editing functionality is there in Dashify, just that the UI is a little messed up. I can adjust the UI so it looks good for Admin Order Modifier and any other plugin that adds columns to the list of products in an order. Is this the same problem you had, or did the functionality not work at all?

Also, thank for for the suggestion about the user page. Someone has made a similar request about updating the styling across the whole dashboard, so I will add it to the roadmap.

@dashify yes it works it’s just goes outside of the table in to the other column.

Great idea! Still need to keep in mind that it will not slow down the backend.

@dashify i would like guys to propose you a deal to finish the work as we need it urgently for a project. To basicly do this with every woocommerce screen specially shipping , payment integrations , users and edit product. Can you contact me please?

Thanks for clarifying that, @rridder. I will fix it and release an update tomorrow.

Good point about not slowing down the admin dashboard. Having used WooCommerce a lot, I know how slow it can be. Eventually, one of my goals with Dashify is to make all the WooCommerce pages load faster.

Hi @rridder, the release is out, 1.2.5. I adjusted the way Dashify styles the line items, so when using Admin Order Modifier, it does not overflow. Instead, if the table is too large, it scrolls like in regular WooCommerce.

Also, I added styling to the fields that Admin Order Modifier adds to make them more like the others in WooCommerce, which saves a lot of space visually.

I want to add that I used RD Order Modifier for WooCommerce, the free version, to make this adjustment, so if you don’t mind, could you try the updated Dashify and see how it looks now?

Since it’s been a while, I’ll assume it’s working well and will mark this one as closed.

Please don’t hesitate to open another support thread if you need help with anything else.

    Thanks!
