Support for TIF files

  • Hi, I noticed that a website user has uploaded several TIF images from around 20mb each. The image is converted to JPG (I assume by Imsanity), but after that both the originally uploaded and converted image are stored.

    I’d like to see it work like BMP files, after conversion, only the converted JPG file is stored.

    Thanks for your question, but we don’t support TIF files in any form, not even to convert them to JPG. It must be some other plugin converting them from TIF to JPG.

    Mmm did some testing and it’s not Imsanity and no other plugin either. I think the customer found out that the tif file didn’t show correctly and then uploaded it again as jpg.
