Support for webp and Shortpixel

    Hi,

    I am trying to get WP Stateless to work together with Shortpixel and the webp format.

    I have already read this discussion https://github.com/udx/wp-stateless/issues/364 which looked promising

    My situation is:
    – Shortpixel optimizes the images and creates the webp version (OK!)
    – WP Stateless syncs images with Cloud Storage including webp images (OK!)
    – I have enabled Shortpixel compatibility in the WP Stateless settings (OK!)
    – In ShortPixel settings I activated WebP Images> Using the <PICTURE> tag syntax> Only via WordPress hooks (OK!)
    – Nothing seems to happen, the tags are not replaced with the <PICTURE> tags. (NOT OK)

    If I disable WP Stateless, the replacement takes place.
    Are WP Stateless and Shortpixel compatible or not? Am I wrong something maybe?

    I’m sorry, it’s not an incompatibility between the two plugins. Rather the problem is that replacing the img tag with the picture tag works in a few cases on the website.
