    Hi there

I am wanting to install and try your plugin on a woocommerce site – however after installing it, I don’t see any TFA info when logging in as the customer at the default shop login page (e.g. example.com/my-account/ )

    What Am I missing ?

Is woocommerce supported? What additional steps must we (administrator) take? Will it work for all woocommerce users? And what about during checkout? Is there an option to get them to set up TFA during account creation?

    Hello @iamhere

Thank you very much for showing interest in our plugin.

WooCommerce is definitely supported. You have a few options on how to integrate 2FA for WooCommerce users:

    1) You can use a shortcode to allow users to configure 2FA from a front-end website page

    2) You can add a 2FA node in the WooCommerce My Account portal

I hope the above helps you get started. Should you need any more information, please do not hesitate to ask.

    Have a great day.

    Hi @robert681

Thanks for your swift reply. I did do a search for “woocommerce” on your FAQ page, but got very few results, so thanks for providing the additional information – I have more confidence now. ??

I am enjoying the discovery of your plugin – it certainly looks fully featured and it’s great to be able to test all of the features without limitation, so thank you for producing this.

    1) RE the branding of the pop up (“Choose the 2FA authentication method”)
    https://www.wpwhitesecurity.com/support/kb/changing-removing-plugin-logo-2fa-wizard/

I can see how to change the logo, but can we change the text that is displayed? I want to link to my own FAQ page and not yours (no offence!)

    2) Equally with this notification box:
“This website’s administrator requires you to enable 2FA authentication before [date/time]” – can we customise this text?

    3) Locked accounts: Can I suggest that perhaps it could be useful to offer a warning email that gets sent e.g. “Your account will be locked in 24hrs”. I have hundreds of users. I don’t really want to have to receive lots of emails and manually unlock all these accounts….. Perhaps better to make it mandatory upon launch (and not use grace time)?

    4) Is there a premium version of this plugin? After testing it, if it suits us, we would like to support its continued development.

    Hello @iamhere

I am glad you appreciate our efforts. Please don’t forget to rate our plugin. These reviews really help us and the plugin.

Below please find the answers to your questions:

1 & 2) At the moment white labeling of the plugin is pretty limited. However we are planning of adding more options in future updates.

    3) We can definitely make an email optional. However, yes, if you want users to enable 2FA I would recommend to make it mandatory upon launch and no user accounts will get locked.

    4) I am glad to hear that you would like to support this plugin. A premium edition of the plugin is in the works and should be available within a few weeks. Follow our blog to know when it will be released.

I hope the above helps. Please let me know if you need any additional information.

    Have a great day.

@robert681 thanks for your swift reply.

Could there be a workaround for 1 & 2 e.g. translation strings or preg replace?

Re 4) how will a premium version of the plugin affect the free version? Is the free version going to become more restricted? And is there an ETA?

Also – with the email OTP option – is there a way to remove the option for user to select a different email address? I want them to only send to their registered email.

    Hello @iamhere

We have seen people using translations to change the text of the wizard and the plugin before. It works, however, it is not a clean solution, hence why I did not recommend it.

In regards to OTP option: no there is no option to remove that for now. However, we can also add that as a setting. I’ve listed it down in our features request list.

And to answer your last question about the premium edition, no, the free edition of the plugin will not change. We never take back what we have provided free, so the free plugin will remain as it is or, even better. We will definitely add more functionality to it as well.

I am sorry, but we can’t discuss the premium plugin in more detail on this forum. If you’d like more information, please contact us by sending an email at support at wpwhitesecurity dot com.

Thank you again for using our plugin.

    Thank you all good.

Another question – when a user has set their TFA (let’s say to email) and then they go to login at the woocommerce my account page, my set up is still taking them to the default wordpress login screen

Is there a way to display the “Please enter your two-factor authentication (2FA) verification code below to login….” message underneath the username / password box on the woocommerce login screen?

I already added the woocommerce node you mentioned previously and that works fine. But I am needing a way to display the login TFA box on the woocommerce login screen

    Hello @iamhere

At the moment that is not an option. However, I can confirm that having the code on the login page is something that we are considering to implement in the future.

I am sorry I couldn’t be of more help at this stage. Should there be anything else we can help you with, please do not hesitate to ask.

    Have a great day.

I just want to thank you for this plugin.
It works perfectly for our site and needs, and I was also able to add the 2FA Configuration to WooCommerce My Account page, based on the information and guide you provided.

I have put it in a snippet and use it with Snippets plugin, which works great for customizations like this.

Basically put info from Step 1 and Step 2 from your https://www.wpwhitesecurity.com/how-to-add-2fa-woocommerce/ in the snippet, have it run on frontend only and in works ??

    Thanks
