Our plugin does not work with PayPal Standard. PayPal Standard is what comes with WooCommerce by default. Our plugin adds Express Checkout, Payments Pro, and Plus.

From the looks of the errors I can tell you are indeed using our plugin, so that’s probably just a matter of terminology. Just wanted to make sure you understood that.

Unfortunately, the simple answer I can give you is that our plugin was never intended to work with Woo Subscriptions and is simply not compatible at this time. We do have plans of making it work with Woo Subscriptions, but it’s probably going to be a couple of months before we’re able to get that done.

I’m sorry I don’t have better immediate news for you.

I tried to enable debug mode, and once going to the paypal tab under the checkout settings, this is the error I get:

Fatal error: Uncaught exception ‘Exception’ with message ‘SSL

    Hi
The strange thing is that I been working with your plugin for a long time with the woo subscriptions with no issues, and then all of a sudden it stopped workign.

I see someonw posted something similiar here:
    https://stackoverflow.com/questions/34372305/im-getting-a-sudden-fatal-error-using-woocommerce-subscriptions-in-wordpress-ad

ARe you aware of this cacert.pem file thing?
Maybe you can give me some hint of solving this issue, and probably others that will find this post by searching for their error message

    Thanks so much!

Unfortunately, I really can’t offer any advise at this time because I have not reviewed their Subscriptions plugin at all. I’m actually rather surprised it ever worked for you with our plugin.

Again, we do have plans to follow their integration guide for Subscriptions to make it work, but I just can’t say for sure when we’ll be able to get that done.

That guide may give you a tip you’re looking for.

I’m also really looking forward for this feature to use with Plus account.
We can help to develop this, or to help with $$$ also.

Already started myself as its not so hard.

But i’m gonna ned some help for:

    'subscription_amount_changes',
    'subscription_date_changes',
    'subscription_payment_method_change'

Yes, we are eager to get this done, too, but we keep having other little things that come up we have to get done first.

We have an issue for this in GitHub already, where I’ve explained how I’m trying to decide exactly how to go about this. We could make it simply compatible with Woo Subscriptions, or we could build out or own so you don’t even need Woo Subscriptions. I think we’re going to try and maybe do both, actually.

If you look in that issue you’ll see somebody else did apparently made some changes to make Woo Subscriptions work. I have not had a chance to review that, but you may very well be able to pull that code and use it.

If you do have a budget you could put towards this please contact me directly to discuss.

I really haven’t had a chance to look at it at all yet. We are an army of two here. ?? I’m doing my best to keep up with customer support, and I have somebody cranking out code as quickly as he can. I do what I can when I’m caught up on support.

We’ll get there ASAP! I know it’s an important feature.
