    We were forced to replace Memphis Docs due to security concerns. When searching for a replacement we found that options were limited. I had several questions and Fahad was very responsive with answering them. Then during testing there were issues that arose with the plug-in and Fahad was very helpful and even put out a bug fix or two. Thank you!

    Now that we have committed 20+ sites to convert and use WP Docs, upgraded to Pro, we have run into another bug and need a very basic feature request filled. I posted for help and support 3 days ago and no response at all.

    What we need is the ability to select multiple files at one time. For moving documents to “manage” how our members access the information. Moving files from one folder to the next is one at a tile or the entire folder and you have to copy/delete in two separate actions. Like ALL basic file systems have, we need to multi-select documents and MOVE them to a new location. I expected it to be in the Pro version and it is not. Very disappointing and super time consuming to do it within the limitations of WP Docs. Even more disappointing that the Author has gone silent after all the time it took to convert to WP Docs.

    I will surely look into the issues you reported but due to weekend and the busy start for this week didn’t allow me to prioritise the tasks accordingly. Support was always consistent but life is uncertain, and we can’t meet the expectations all the times, please accept my apologies, I will surely read your support thread soon and work on the improvements.

    I have checked everything carefully and couldn’t reproduce this bug, anyways I am releasing a new version with some other improvements. You may test it again and let me know if you still find the reported issue. And please be patient as the plugin support requires attention and sometimes we don’t get a suitable time slot for the troubleshooting due to other incidents are happening in the life.

    I have tested it with & and also changed the approach to update the directory name. Please try the following,

    1) First rename the directory to something without & instead of changing from “&” to “&”

    2) Then again insert “&” into it as a second update

    Actually what happens, MySQL database do not see the difference when you change from “&” to “&” and the changes remain zero always. It is not a bug, when our database query is identical, it database will not use the resources to execute it.

    Try the latest version with this improvement and please update the files/attachments name from the WordPress library section because those are actually uploading from there. Directories and shortcuts are created within this plugin so I have taken care of the code for them.

    That is the problem. My SQL doesn’t know difference. I feel you did not read my attachment. That is the problem. After renaming to “Bug”, I cannot delete. I say OK to warning Do you want to delete this directory and data as well?” it does not delete folder and data inside folder.

    To recreate, create a folder named “Test & Copy”.

    Add a file inside, named “04-21 H&I Minutes”. (these are the names of files from the Memphis Docs import on the file server.)

    Try to delete folder, doesn’t work. Go inside folder and delete file. That works. Now delete folder. Doesn’t work. Rename to Test Copy. Now it deletes.

    It is because MySQL data does not match file name because it look for “04-21 H&I Minutes” file name and not “04-21 H&I Minutes” Can’t delete file inside folder, doesn’t delete folder.
