Hi there, thanks for contacting us, and I’m sorry for the delay. We’re working on a backlog of support requests at this time, and we generally answer in the order received. Did you send a message directly via our Contact form? I’m checking the system here and I can’t find any ticket with your site highlighted, or your email address ??

With that said, let’s tackle your queries.

Due to REST API path detection problem i’ve reconnected Jetpack and lost all subscribers and about 5 years statistics. I want it back.

I’m working on that. Did you recently change the site URL of did you just run into a problem with the plugin?

there is another persistent bug, if WP_HOME does not match SITEURL

While your site is publicly accessible, we cannot access your site’s XML-RPC file:
    https://funpanda.ru/xmlrpc.php

This file is used by Jetpack and other plugins and apps to connect to your site. It must return the following message:
XML-RPC server accepts POST requests only.

You can see a working example here:

    https://jetpack.me/xmlrpc.php

Since your site returns a 404 error for this page, I would recommend that you check the following:

    1) Can you see the /xmlrpc.php file at the root of your WordPress installation when accessing your site via FTP?

    2) Do you use any security plugins that may block access to this file? If so, could you try to disable them?

    3) Does your hosting provider block access to this file? If you don’t find any plugin that may block access to the file on your site, I would recommend that you get in touch with your host.

Let me know what you find out. Thanks!

Hi there! I think I was able to recover your stats – you should be able to see it shortly on you end ??

Can you confirm all is sorted as far as stats are concerned? Still waiting for your feedback about the xmlrpc.php file issue!

stats are back, but subscribers are not. There been 1 new subscriber this week and i want to keep him/her and get the old subscribers back as well.
Thank you for recovering stats. But please get our site subscribers back ! )

Did you send a message directly via our Contact form?

Yes, same day after Jetpack reconnect (with stats and subscribers loss).

Did you recently change the site URL of did you just run into a problem with the plugin?

Havent changed for ~5 years (all the time Jetpack is connected)
I decided to reconnect, because after analyzing logs i’ve seen the REST route path is incorrect
    "GET /wordpress/?rest_route=%2Fjetpack
this returned 403 for requests from Jetpack server
    after reconnect
    "GET /?rest_route=%2Fjetpack
this is correct, but seem to return 400 for requests from Jetpack server
JetPack is using XML-RPC, it works, despite Self Test fails.

While your site is publicly accessible, we cannot access your site’s XML-RPC file:
    https://funpanda.ru/xmlrpc.php

WP is installed in a subfolder
    https://codex.www.ads-software.com/Giving_WordPress_Its_Own_Directory
    Path to xmlrpc.php is https://funpanda.ru/wordpress/xmlrpc.php

Since your site returns a 404 error for this page, I would recommend that you check the following:

There is really no such file. Its in /wordpress/ subfolder

    Hi there!

I’m sorry, but we couldn’t find any tickets in our records ??
You did well in writing here then!

I made a small change on my end, and now everything looks fine! It looks like the xmlrpc.php path wasn’t entered correct in here, but all looks good now.

As for the subscriptions, I just migrated them, so you should see them shortly.

You should be all set! Please let me know if you have any further questions or doubts, and we’re happy to assist you.

we couldn’t find any tickets in our records

This is a bit strange, it should be direct POST from site Dashboard, yes? Not an email? Anyway, at least i reached support and got stats&subscribers back now, the air is back, everyone can remove oxygen masks! ??

    Thank you.
