• Hi,

    We purchased a license for this plugin back in October, and a paid license is supposed to come with support, yet in 6 months of having this plugin we’ve never gotten a response to a single ticket submission. We’re honestly just confused at this point. We purchased the plugin, there is a support form provided, and our questions are simple.

    At the moment we are interested in purchasing additional licensing for the plugin – which would mean us spending money – and no one has responded. We’re trying to give you money :\

    Sorry for the frustration, but after 6 months of trying to contact you we simply just don’t understand what’s going on.

    Are we missing something as to how to get a response from Foobox?

  • I hate to tell you this, but I don’t think there is anything you can do. I have been trying to get a response from their support since February. I too purchased a license, and thought “support” would mean a response to my ticket atleast. I came here on the keywords “foobox support” hoping someone had an answer, only to find another someone just like me who these guys have failed to respond to. They obviously could care less about the people that spend money on their products.

    When you purchase a license, it says right on the purchase info “premium support”. Guess “premium” is code for “no support”? Not sure we understand what a business’s reasons for being like this could be. :\

    I guess time to research a totally new plugin and not waste anymore time or energy on this.

    Thanks for the heads up. I came here to get a taste of support issues and typical problems prior to purchasing. It would seem to set an expectation that is below what they are publishing.

    If the developers read this, I am not purchasing a license because of an apparent lack of support. Despite this being recommended by CyberChimps, I will seek out other lightbox/gallery alternatives.

    In the meantime, best to avoid products like this altogether given that no support suggests that development lags.

    @wudman – I can assure you that we take support very seriously.

    I have 2 licences and I too have been waiting over a month. I really need help. I will wrote to the email provided but it bounced back. I think it’s supossed to be @foopluins.com (plural). I tried again, I hope it goes through.

    I have submitted a ticket on their website forums and they have been extremely helpful.
