Support with user access restriction (logged out + certain user roles to access)

    Dear Support,

I have a complicated setup that I can't get my head around. If you could please kindly help, I'd really appreciate it.

I need all logged-out users, AND users roles (except "Applicant") to be able to visit homepage.com

However, if user role "Applicant" visits this page, I want them to be redirected to homepage.com/apply (to force them to complete their job application, which, if accepted, will give them access to the full site).

How can I do this? The problem is that when I create the rules, I cannot seem to have both. I can EITHER...

Scenario a.) restrict the applicant from viewing the main site (correct), but then restrict the logged out visitors from seeing it too (incorrect). In this situation, the other user roles such as "Parents" or "Support Staff" can see the site, but logged out visitors cannot (incorrect). It should be only the applicant who is restricted (not logged out users or other user roles).

Scenario b.) the applicant is not restricted from the homepage (incorrect), but the logged out users can still access it (correct).

I cannot seem to create the desired scenario (c.), where...

Scenario c.) applicant is forced to visit maindomain.com/teach (correct). All other user roles and logged-out users can freely browse the website as they like (correct).

    Thank you for getting in touch.

    Currently, you can create a restriction base on a login or logout user. It doesn’t have the option to select both with user role.

    Our developers are currently working on improvements for Content Control, so there might be things to look forward in future updates.
