SupportCandy page calls up htaccess/htpasswd login box
-
I am new to supportcandy and was wondering if this sounds like a known issue. I have searched but cannot find anything to help me.
I have put a password onto my wpadmin directory so I need a username & password in order to get to my normal WordPress admin login screen.
I have created a support page in Divi and added the shortcode [supportcandy]
When I am not logged in, I navigate to the support page and it calls the htaccess password box, whilst the supportcandy system hangs. Only when I press cancel twice on the password box does the password box disappear and the support page with [supportcandy] load ok.
I have run with all plugins turned off and still the same. The only time it works normally is if I remove directory password protection from /wpadmin.
My web host keeps blocking my IP address as their firewall says the password dialog box is being accessed multiple times which is suspicious.
Just wondering if this sounds familiar? I cannot check my error logs as my hosting company have blocked my IP so cannot access backend files.
