Hi, I am using Woocommerce, WPML translating plugin and CTX Feed to map the values/attributes in feed XML file for Merchant Center Next

I have a online wholesale store in 6 different languages (English-main,French, German, Russian, Spanish, Turkish)

And now I am going to set the [unit_pricing_measure] and [unit_pricing_base_measure] and as you know it requires to show certain unit measures
    Supported units

    • Weight:?oz,?lb,?mg,?g,?kg
    • Volume (US imperial):?floz,?pt,?qt,?gal
    • Volume (metric):?ml,?cl,?l,?cbm
    • Length:?in,?ft,?yd,?cm,?m
    • Area:?sqft,?sqm
    • Per unit:?ct

And all those units have their translations in each specific language for example:
“ct” in Turkish will be “adet” in Russian “шт” and so on.

So my question is: will the Google Merchant Center Next understand those translations and accept them as measure units in order to be able to calculate base price (I know it does that in some certain cases and AI defines it, but I want to know will those translation be accepted correctly?)

Because it is not good for user experience to see measure units in other language other than the page is.

In order to better understand my situation please see my topic in Google support

    Thanks in advance!

    Hi! @ylyas

As google has already mentioned the supported values, you don’t need to translate the units. Add the unites in English(supported values) and submit your supplemental feed and the feed should be okay.

    Thank you

That is correct. But Google requires to display those values on local product page. For example “10$ per 5 ct (2$ per 1ct)” and I can’t have the word “ct” on my German language page or in Russian language page. German, Russian and other language users won’t understand it. Do you see what I mean? In order them to understand it I have to use “St” for German language page, “шт” for Russian language page etc

    Hi@ylyas

The units must be kept in Google’s supported format and cannot be changed to a different language in the feed. However, Google will decide whether to display the units to users in a translated format or in English.

I hope you are clear. Please, let me know if you have any further queries.

    Thanks you,

Got it. I have a following question

Could you please kindly say do I have to put a space between value number and unit measure?
    For example which is correct:?
    750ml or?750 ml
    1000ct or 1000 ct ?
The reason I am asking is that at the “Examples” section of?Unit pricing base measure instructions?there is no space on some examples and there is a space on other examples. Please see?the screenshot.
But?at the “Examples” section of?Unit pricing measure instructions?there is a space.?
    That what is confusing me.?

I just want to know how exactly should I enter the values here

    Thanks in advance

    Hi @ylyas

Google accepts both formats. But I recommend using it without space between the value and the unit.
