Surecart vs SureTrigger
-
Hello and good day.
Is Surecart, SureTriggers?
I have been following you guys on Facebook and SureTriggers was mentioned as an automation tool for CartFlows.
Last week, I ran across SureCart.
I have been waiting on SureTriggers to be released due to its suggested automation features by Adam on facebook.
Are these the same products or are they different?
If they are different, is SureTriggers still being released?
-
Let me clarify that.
SureCart is an ecommerce platform similar to WooCommerce. SureTriggers is an automation platform similar to Zapier but with deep WordPress integration.
They are separate, made to work together, and share the Sure brand name.
For CartFlows Pro users, yes we are going to have an upgraded plan for them to add value CartFlows Pro. Same when people opt for SureCart Pro, we will have an upgraded plan for them as well.
But we will also have a free plan for SureTriggers that includes 500 actions performed per month. which is 5X more than Zapier offers for free.
SureTriggers is still in private beta, but we will be having an open beta shortly.
Thanks for the explanation.
With that being said, maybe you can give me the best course of action to take getting started.
I recently started building out my new site and was following your Cartflows vs Clickfunnels review and tutorial.
In that guide you mention using WooCommerce.
I have WooCommerce and Cartflows installed on the site, and few product pages created in WooCommerce.
However, I have not purchased Cartflows or added any product upsells yet (I think you call them bumps).
I was looking at WooFunnels and CartFlows but heard about SureTriggers and was waiting to see how SureTriggers would perform and how I might integrate everything into my sales funnel website marketing.
I have been waiting weeks for SureTriggers to come out but then heard about SureCart on the facebook page a few days ago.
How do you recommend I proceed?
Should I stop using WooCommerce and start building/integrating with Cartflows and SureCart while waiting for SureTriggers?
Right now I am at a crossroads between the various platforms and technology that are available right now.
Any suggestions you have would be appreciated.
Hello and good evening.
I just setup and configured SureCart. Love the setup and API integration.
However, there are a few things that I wanted to chime in on.
1) Adding images: I have images already in WordPress that I was already using. SureCart made me reupload those images instead of using the images from the WordPress media library. Is this necessary?
https://drive.google.com/file/d/10Lr0Ngd-Sm2uyqzhVYzlaDM0FF5CnqSA/view?usp=drivesdk
2) Product Page: The surecart product page is very basic. I feel like it could showcase the product more. For starters, the image I chose for the product is very small. Also there are no other images allowed to showcase the product. Nor is there any description for the product.
Is this product page meant, just to link to FROM your main product page?
If that is the case, then it makes more sense.
In that instance, I would not create a WooCommerce Product, but a regular WordPress Product Page, and add the SureCart checkout link as a Buy It button.
However, with that said, if I am using a WooCommerce Ecommerce Template, which does not use WordPress Pages to populate or showcase products, then this above workflow will not work for me.
I guess I just need to understand the workflow.
Hello and good day.
Just wondering if there was a response or update to my question.
With that said, I just reviewed the Getting Started with Carflows and it states, Cartflows sits on top of WooCommerce.
So I am going to assume that if I am using Cartflows, I have to use WooCommerce for product page creation.
So now I am wondering where SureCart sits in the marketing mix.
Am I simply using it to create short Buy It Now links or buttons to SureCart checkout?
Any update or word on this?
I am considering your product but after not getting a response for days on end, I am beginning to second guess myself.
It has been almost a week with no response.
Sorry for the delayed response here. I think I emailed you access to SureTriggers via our helpdesk.
If you are deciding on using SurrTriggers vs WooCommerce, it’s important to understand what your needs are and what the differences are between these 2 options. Because they approach things differently.
WooCommerce is for traditional stores where you have lots of different products. It will create a shop page that lists all your products and it will create product pages for each page. They tend to be very opinionated which is why there are so many different add-ons to adjust how it looks and works out of the box.
SureCart approaches it differently and currently is not ideal for very large stores with hundreds of products. It does not create a shop page or product pages. You can create those to be exactly how you want them and either place a checkout form right on your page, or use an add-to-cart link.
SureCart is also different in that it has a cloud platform that does all the heavy backend processing, so it will never slow your website down. This is a common issue with WooCommerce, it will slow your website down and the admin area. The only way to solve it is with more expensive hosting. So when you were adding an image to your product in SureCart, you were adding it to the cloud platform, which is why you didn’t see your media library items.
Hope that helps.
Emailed me access to SureTrggers? I have not received anything fro you other than from this thread a few days ago.
Did I miss something?
I do have an Ecommerce store running WooCommerce, so I understand what you mean.
However, I have a new site I am rolling out for B2B Marketing.
So I can kind of understand how SureCart could be used as opposed to WooCommerce.
You could use CartFlows to create the landing and thank you pages and use SureCart to create the billable check out pages.
However, I started this recent B2B Marketing page after seeing your CartFlows vs ClickFunnels tutorial. So I started creating my B2B site based on that.
But, if I had come across SureCart first, I may have built the site out differently.
Which is no problem, this exposure gives me a couple different ideas and ways for building out sites in the future.
With that said, how is SureTriggers coming along?
I would love to see how it integrates with my new B2B site or if I am going to have to do something different?
I want to have this new site released by Aug 23rd (which is next week).
So I am trying to create a product which includes a one time initial fee plus a monthly subscription.
How do I accomplish this in SureCart?
Is it possible?
I am trying to avoid creating 3 separate product pages in woocommerce (I have 3 variations of the product).
I can’t even find the links for linking to the products I just created in surecart.
When I first installed it, I could have sworn, when I created products it gave me a url to use for linking.
Now I cant find it.
Did the update remove this functionality and ability?
That’s the only thing I can think of that changed.
Update: So I think I figured out how the update is different.
You have to create Products, then create Forms to get the Shortcode and place the shortcode on the pages.
However, when I try to place more than one shortcode on a page, I am getting a SureCart error of, “Due to processor restrictions, only one checkout form is allowed on the page”.
See screenshot.
So it appears I am back to creating 3 different pages in WooCommerce and adding them as upsells in CartFlows.
This is a little confusing.
I feel like SureCart does part of what I want, but Cartflows does everything, with a little more work.
Please correct me if I am wrong.

First regarding SureTriggers, I thought you had emailed our support desk and I responded with access to SureTriggers. The person’s name was Ray and they specifically said I asked them to email the help desk. Sounds like that wasn’t you, but if you want to email us we will get you the beta access info.
Regarding a subscription with a setup free. This is really easy to do. Create a product named Setup Fee and set the price. Create a second product which will be the subscription. You can delay the subscription charge easily, use the free trial options. So if there is a subscription where the first month is a higher fee due to the setup fee, you would delay the first subscription payment 1 month. Hopefully that makes sense.
Yes we will not let you place more than one checkout form on a single page. Nor does CartFlows BTW.
I have not received anything regarding SureTriggers. I would love to get beta access!
I just emailed technical support via my Cartflows Pro Account.
Thanks for the recommendation on setting up the subscription.
I was able to do it.
I guess it’s best to have a landing page with a single offer instread of 3 offers with different variations.
The single landing page would have one offer but you could/would create upsells or bumps for the other 2 variations/offers.
Does that sound about right?
Thanks for confirming. Sorry about that. I just pulled up the ticket and sent over instructions. Hope you enjoy it.
So if you want a landing page with 3 different packages, you can either have 1 checkout for with a price selector. Or you can have a pricing table on that page with 3 different checkout pages, one for each plan.
