sURL from YOURLS not working

I tried using a different URL shortener service (goo.gl) and that does not work either.

Do you have %SURL% in your message format?

Are you getting any errors?
Please check your Log/History tab and let me know what do you have there.

Not working for me either. I tried “FORCE SHORT URL”, and %SURL%, yet my YOURLS link never gets used. Instead it uses the long URL. The normal one. “Pretty link”, if you will.

So instead of:
– https://soe.vc/7,

it is:
– https://www.soyeg.club/breaking-officer-shot-in-west-edmonton-moments-ago-stay-clear-of-callingwood-neighbourhood-stay-indoors-until-further-notice/

I get no errors.

I was able to get it to work by deactivating and then activating the YOURLS plugin i have, but now I get 4 short URLs every time I share my posts.

Yikes… Mine still simply isn’t using YOURLS whatsoever. :/

Do you use the YOURLS plugin as well?

I did… But I’ve just deleted it and gave up. Too much hassle.

I am living with the multiple short URLs, I like having them and the information is kept with me instead of a 3rd party.
