Surprisingly easy to set up

  • Surprisingly easy to set up and just works. Exactly what was needed.

    Shopowner had set up products with variations as simple products just to show all the available colors/sizes and so that vistors can order them directly from the shop and category pages.

    Downside of this was that other variations did not show on the product detail page and there were multiple product detail pages with the same (duplicate) content.

    To clarify; that downside was referring to the old situation when products with variations where set up as simple products. Problem with this set up is that on the detail page there is no way to select another variation. That is solved now by using your plugin.

    The thing with duplicate content is something that I need to address as that still excists. That content has to be rewritten or we should use canonicals.

    Identical content appearing on multiple URL’s is beyond the scope of your plugin, i guess.
