survey plugin

  • I’m looking for some help finding a plugin. Im looking for a forms or survey plugin that will email my websites users inviting them to fill in the form or survey and be able to export the results in CSV

    I’m part of a rowing club that creates a rota each week for when boats go out on the water and who’s in them. Basically the form gets emailed to everyone on a contact list with available times, people fill in the form for when they want to row and someone puts a rota together. We use Google forms at the moment but the whole thing is a bit messy.

    Any ideas would be most welcome. I’ve struggled to find anything that’ll work so far.

  • I would recommend a service like Mailchimp for that. You could use the Mailchimp WordPress plugin to collect user information, that will feed into a Mailchimp list, then inside Mailchimp you can design an email to send out to your users. I believe you can also export Mailchimp users via CSV.

    We did look into Mailchimp. The problem is we’re trying to bring everything in to one place. At the moment we use so many different things to manage the club, we’re really trying to get it all central to the website. There’s not much point switching from Google Forms to Mailchimp, sort of defies the point.
