Svea checkout plugin doesn’t work

  • Hi,

    We’ve just noticed that our Svea checkout page is not working and we’re having trouble trying to get it working again.

    I have deactivated/activated it, uninstalled/reinstalled it and it is the same issue. It even breaks the whole checkout page as it doesn’t fully load.

    I have reverted back to the original Woocommerce checkout and all works as it should.

    I do get a “Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 500 () index:1” looking through the checkout page’s code in chrome, but i am not sure if that is a plugin or server related issue.

    Hi Oliver!

    Sorry to hear that you are experiencing troubles with the checkout page.

    Have you set the checkout page to Svea checkout?
    Also, could you turn on the Svea logs and send a screen shot?

    The page is set to Svea checkout and here you’ll find a screenshot of the page.

    Not sure where to turn on the Svea logs from, is it possible to do that from WordPress or do we need to have access to the server’s files?

    Hi, go to Woo Commerce -> Settings -> Payments -> Svea Checkout -> Logs (scroll down to a checkbox).

    You’ll find the log under Woo Commerce -> Status -> Logs -> and then you choose svea_checkout in the dropdown to the right.

    I don’t have svea_checkout in the log list but there is a fatal error that is connected to Svea, here is the screen shot

    Hi,

    The error appears to be related to get_tax_price_display_mode() which was added to Woo Commerce. What version of Woo Commerce are you using?

    Ok we might have found the solution then. Is there a specific reason to why haven’t upgraded to a later version? The get_tax_price_display_mode() is used as from WC version 4.4 so I would suggest you backup the site an upgrade to the latest version of WooCommerce.

    Here is our log, we have tried 2 clean test-environments with only WooCommerce and your plugin installed and activated, with everything latest version. We have set checkout page. Here is our log

    Hm, that sounds odd. And Theme is Storefront?

    Yes we are using storefront theme
