    I already added:

    define(‘ALLOW_UNFILTERED_UPLOADS’, ‘true’);

    within wp-config file

    Any idea?

    I made it work on another website, but do not remember what I did and I also would like to avoid touching the functions php file.

    Solved by installing Safe svg plug-in, but why should we need a plug-in for this?

    Not clear.
