    Hey tmacka88,

I’m adding this on the list for the next release. I’ll look into it. Unfortunately I can’t promise a date yet, I’ve got pretty busy lately. But don’t worry, even if it takes some time I’ll get back to it.

    Thanks,
    C?t?lin

Thank you very much. I can’t live without SVG haha.

    Hey tmacka88,

SVG support isn’t part of WordPress core yet. Not sure how can I do this (keep in mind image styles, uploaded images can get cropped not only resized). I need to further investigate this before deciding to add it to Avatar Manager.

    Related resources that could help:
    https://css-tricks.com/snippets/wordpress/allow-svg-through-wordpress-media-uploader/
    https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/svg-support/

I also aim to augment the core functions without altering how WordPress works. Any ideas that would help solving this issue are welcome.

    Thanks,
    C?t?lin

If you want to, you can try Avatar Manager in combination with the SVG Support plugin. It adds SVG support to Media Library, then you should be able to upload images of this type as avatar images. It might work.

    Hi,

Yes I use the code snippet from CSS-tricks. It works very well. No problems with cropping. Though still doesn’t work with this plugin for some reason.

If at all possible to support SVG providing user add the code to functions.php that way you you don’t have to add non core things to the plugin. Just add it to the FAQ how to support it or something.

There’s nothing more anyoying than an image that looks blurry.

    Thanks

I totally agree with this, please let me a while to find a proper solution, be it adding support for other plugin/custom code and I’ll get back to it.
