SVI PRO Issues with Porto Theme

  • We purchased the SVI Pro version to help with product images for variable products on our site using the Porto Theme. A few months in, we discovered a conflict between SVI Pro and the Porto theme where the featured product image would not load. We first contacted Porto and their fix was to disable SVI Pro. As a result, all variable products required rework. SVI Pro was contacted about the problem later, but wouldn’t consider looking at the site unless we returned it to the problem/conflict state. Since we spent considerable time repairing the SVI Pro issues we opted to not recreate the problem.

    It turns out that Porto actually was better at creating variable products than SVI Pro and so there was no added value for us to use SVI Pro. We did contact SVI Pro for a refund and they replied with a link to their site stating they do not provide refunds. Make sure you really need this first before you buy.

    Thanks for the review, but you should be sincere because I did offer my support:

    I did consider to look at the site. I think it’s very simple to understand, if you don’t setup/replicate your issue to show me I cant guess your problem therefor I cannot offer assistance.

    Regarding refund, it’s very well stated that I don’t offer refund.
