Swatch Theme Unable to Load thumbnail preview for portfolio & slider not working

Hi

I am using Swatch which comes with no support, After creating a portfolio page and several portfolio items , the theme is unable to show the preview for the portfolio images , screen shot here

Also the slider on the home page refuses to show up ,
