[NSFW] Swedish letters ??? replaced

My name is Arun. Thank you for using my plugin and for the kind words. I tried uploading an image with ??? and WordPress replaces them with aaa for the filename. And since the plugin derives it’s attributes from the filename, the special capped letters are lost forever.

Let me see if I can figure a way around it. I have attempted this a few times in the past unsuccessfully, but it’s time to give it another look. I will keep you posted. Thank you.

I have come up with a solution for this and I have it on the development version. Would you be kind to give it a try? You can download it here: https://github.com/arunbasillal/Auto-Image-Attributes-From-Filename-With-Bulk-Updater/archive/refs/heads/branch-4.3.zip

To install: Download the zip, then visit your WordPress Dashboard > Plugins > Add New and upload the zip file.

If you already have the plugin installed, WordPress will ask you to overwrite it. Please do so.

Then upload a new image and see how it fares. Unfortunately this will not work for existing images since the data is already gone once WordPress renames the files.

It worked. Thanks! Now the plugin does not convert Cyrillic names into transliteration.
