“Sweep All” button not working, and no action is carried out

  • Hello Sir,
    I don’t understand what’s happening.

    When I click the “Sweep All” button, nothing happens. The button looks at my face and says “I won’t go anywhere, and nothing you can do about it (LOL)”.

    Please, how can I fix this?

    Most likely it has timeout due to too much data or the timeout is too short. I recommend to run one sweep at a time.

    Hello Sir,
    It seems the problem is a plugin conflict.I disabled all my plugins except WP Sweep, and when I tried it, it worked beautifully well.

    On a last note, I want to tell you that I like your plugin, and I’m requesting that you should please not give up on it anytime soon. I’m saying you should Please not make WP Sweep to become abandonware anytime soon.

    You should please try to continue to support it for the next 5 years.

    Nah, I don’t think I will give it up as long as I am still using WordPress personally on my blog. It will still work but might or might not have new features in the future (I accept Pull Requests for new features if anyone want to add them)

    Yes, I experienced the same problem EVEN just by going through one at a time. It worked for the first few but the last two it did not – but that is where most of the counts were…

    Transient options- had 46%
    Optimise tables – 181

    Normally, if there is a conflict, on my site it is always Siteground SG optimizer or Ithemes Security. So I deactivated them.

    Transient options sweep WORKED.
    Optimise tables – still FAILED – count 181 remains.

    So I deactivated all plugins…. still no joy
    Transient options count now 17 – clicked sweep – went down to 10
    Optimise tables = count 181 &Of=N/A – clicked sweep – still at 181

    Great plug interface and dead simple. Its a work of beauty – if only I could get it to work. Clearly others have had so much success. Help!!!

    hmm I think you mistaken, optimize table doesn’t delete the table. It runs its query https://dev.mysql.com/doc/refman/8.0/en/optimize-table.html
