Swell WP theme cant customize Theme

  • In the back end, under Appearance->Customize theme, all i get is a rotating wait circle in the middle of the screen.
    Using Chrome Console i can see these errors:

    load-scripts.php:79 Uncaught SyntaxError: missing ) after argument list

load-scripts.php?c=0&load[]=jquery-core,jquery-migrate,nav-menu,utils,plupload&ver=4.3.1:1 

Uncaught ReferenceError: postboxes is not defined

    When making editds to the site, the changes are not showing, the menu on the home page is not the same as the one on the sub pages, just all sorts of “cache” issues although there are no cache pluggins on the site.

    you need to go back to the theme’s developer for support on this one i’m afraid, if you reset the theme back to the wp default theme and the issue goes away then it’s probably a problem with the swell theme.
