    Hi,

I have a problem with swf and wordpress. I am using 4.1 with striking multiflex theme running on https://www.voteforalex.dk. I am adding a swf file that reads fom external files and writes to them. However, in wordpress it is not allowed. Help ??

    Some basic debug info:

    • I have tried disabling all (I currently only have tinyMCE advanced) plugins. Same issue.
    • I have tried changing theme to twenty thirteen. Same issue.
    • The swf works fine when calling it directly https://www.voteforalex.dk/wp-content/uploads/2015/01/snakeTutorial.swf
    • The swf works fine when calling througn an html file https://www.voteforalex.dk/wp-content/uploads/2015/01/snakeTutorial.html
    • I have copied the html-swf file into the wordpress page. Same issue
    • I have used both embed and object to get the swf file in
    • I have currently set files and folders to chmod 777 (ssssshhhh! ok? ?? )
    • Currently, I have used the theme multiflex shortcode followed by the html object code in the front page of the wordpress site

From the above, I can only conclude that it is a wordpress/swf issue, but I cannot find out how.

    Best regards

    Alex

hmpf… I moved the external files to the root, and it worked. WordPress is fine. Always have been. ??
