SWF player?

  • I have a registered copy of JW Player which is playing FLV files OK. I have an SWF file, but that won’t play. I’m not finding a list of supported file types. Is SWF not supported?

    Hi RoamFree,

    SWF files are not officially supported by the JW Player. The reasoning here is that SWF files can contain things other than video and as a result can lead to unexpected behavior.
