    Hello!
I hope the developers here can help me.

The problem is that the Swift plugin is not caching. I have to go into Tools, then Swift Performance and then cache each page! And then the green tick appears and it seems good. ( I just did it, otherwise nothing happens).

Not sure if that’s the right thing to do.

The reason I believe its not caching is:

    1. I recently updated my site content, nothing major, just front page. It shows up as the ‘new’ fresh site/pagees on my Macbook. But not on my smartphone or iPad. Was showing the ‘older’ version an hour ago.

    2. I was following a few steps on ‘How to Check and Know that Swift performance is Caching’ on another blog, and ticking/unticking all relevant boxes in the plugin’s configurations. It advised to check this by opening page in Chrome browser, then View Source, and check if Caching Swift is there, but the caching is no where to be seen.

Please please, I need help desperately! I have been using Swift for a couple of weeks, and no caching. And my site is super slow. I have optimised my images. I don’t have a lot, not at all.

    Theme: Customizr
    Plugins:

    Swift Performance Lite
    Cloudflare
    Nimble Builder
    Mad Mimi Signup Forms
    Woocommerce
    woocommerce Paypal Checkout Gateway
    Woocommerce Social Media Share Buttons
    Woocommerce Stripe Gateway
    WP Simple Pay (Lite version)

Your help would be greatly appreciated!!!
    Thanks,
    Jenny

    Hi,

First of all I suggest to use Swift’s cloudflare integration instead 3rd party plugin, because it can cause issues.

    Also is WP Cron disabled?

    Hello,

    thank you for responding.

    1. Re: Cloudflare
Excuse my ignorance. What do you mean to use Swifts Cloudflare integration instead of 3rd Party plugin? I thought that when I go through the Wizard set up it should ‘note it’ or something. Which it never does.
Could you tel me what you mean and how I’d do it?

    2. Re: WP Cron disabled
I have the Lite version, if you mean Swift’s cron? It says ‘feature available only with premium version’ with checkbox next to it to enable or not.
If it’s WP cron, I dont know what that is and where to find it. Sorry!

    You can set Cloudklare through
    Settings->CDN->Cloudflare: Enable Auto Purge

Further check if Prebuild Cache Automatically is enabled in Settings->Caching->Warmup.

Are you on shared hosting? Maybe lack of resources is slowing down your website?

    Hope this helps.

    Hi Fred,

    thank you for your response.

Yes, I have WP settings as you have written: Settings–> CDN–> Cloudflare: enabled for Auto Purge.

I have also Prebuild Cache Automatically enabled in Setting–>Caching–>warm up also, on my WP.

Also, I am not on shared hosting, but Cloudhosting. It’s pretty good.
I don’t know what I have done exactly, but I have changed some configurations (following advice from an ‘unofficial’ advice site that went through every single recommended settings for Swift Performance Lite) and it seems to be faster now.

    Regards,

    Jenny
