Hello, I would like to insert a “swipe up” link and page attachment, but this function does not appear to be available in the latest version of the Google Web Stories plugin for WordPress. I note that you addressed a similar question in May 2022 and said it was not available in that version of the plugin. I would be grateful if you could indicate if there is any plan to integrate this feature back into the plugin in the near future, or if there is a workaround that we can use. Thanks, Michael

  • @maguas Hello, and thank you for reaching out with your topic. The swipe-up and page attachment functionality still exist but are labeled differently. If you navigate to the Style tab, and click on the page, then you will see a field called “Call to action” where you can enter your page attachment. Here is an example: https://g.recordit.co/GoCFLqAAhR.gif

Thanks Luckyna. Unfortunately the call to action button/function is not what I need help with. I want the swipe up from the bottom of the screen that brings up a field where the author of the post can provide additional information. See example at https://github.com/ampproject/amphtml/issues/20209. How do I get this using your plug-in, or when will the function be available? Thanks!

@maguas This will give you the swipe up functionality, as well as the ability to change the wording to something like “Learn more” or “Click here”. You can see in this example video how I added this. Please let me know if you have questions.
